Weybread murder documentary set to air on Channel 5




A documentary featuring the 2016 Weybread murders of Sylvia and Peter Stuart is due to air today.

The Channel 5 show The Murderer Next Door will investigate the case for which Ali Qazimaj was jailed for a minimum of 35 years.

The retired couple, of Mill Lane, Weybread, were reported missing in June, 2016.

Police located the body of 75-year-old Peter Stuart in a stream at the rear of his home, but his wife Sylvia, 69, has never been found.

Ali Qazimaj, 45, from Tilbury, Essex, claimed he was on trial in a case of mistaken identity, but was found guilty of their murders.

The episode of Murderer Next Door will air on Channel 5 today (April 16) at 10pm.
