Norfolk County Council will be undertaking works to resurface the carriageway on the junction of Shelfanger Road, Denmark Street and Roydon Road in Diss on Sunday May 19 or May 26 (for one Sunday).

This resurfacing is being undertaken to replace the defective surface course, which will improve the general condition of the carriageway at this location.

Shelfanger Road/Denmark Street (B1077) and the junction of Roydon Road will be closed for traffic during surfacing work.

The closure will be for 24 hours from 6am Sunday to 6am Monday. A suitable diversion route will be appropriately signed for traffic.

Access to properties within the works area will be maintained and “Businesses Open as Usual” signage will be erected during the resurfacing works.

Access to businesses and properties within the limits of the closure will be maintained from one end at all times but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.

The County Council thanks people for their patience while this carriageway surfacing work is carried out.
