Monsters in Diss will not reopen under current ownership due to the uncertain times brought about by Covid-19
Soft play area Monsters in Diss will not be reopened by its current owners.
The popular children's play area announced a temporary closure on March 18, and like many businesses, had initially hoped to reopen.
Yesterday, however, Monsters made an announcment via its Facebook page to let customers know that the current owners would not be reopening due to Covid-19 and the "uncertain future" of indoor play.
Government guidance allowed soft play areas to reopen from August 15, but with guidelines in place and ball pits remaining off limits.
Monsters in Diss said: "It’s been a tough decision and with a heavy heart I have to inform you all, that monsters will be shut permanently under the current ownership due to Covid and the uncertain future with indoor play. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your custom in the last 16 years and wish you all the best of luck."
