Diss arrest: Man pleads not guilty after cocaine, cannabis and £2,000 were found in his possession after police stopped his car




A man has pleaded not guilty after appearing in court on Friday after being charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis.

The man was stopped by police in May 2020 while driving in Diss, and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified.

After resisting arrest and attempting to run away, officers found cocaine, cannabis, MDMA and £2,000 cash in his possession.

The man appeared at Norwich Magistrated Court and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Mark Moulton, 25, of Glebe Close, Thetford appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs, two counts of possession with intent to supply drugs and one count of possession of a class A drug.

Moulton is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 9th July 2021, after pleading not guilty to all charges at Friday’s hearing.
