Man dies after East Anglian Air Ambulance called to reports of accident in Hoxne, near Eye




A man has died after emergency services were called to an incident in a village.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance to an address in Hoxne yesterday afternoon following reports of a man injured in an accident.

A spokesperson said: “Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, a man died at the scene.”

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they were called to reports of a person trapped.

The fire service was alerted at 1.30pm.
