A man has been handed a suspended sentence after admitting supplying cannabis and magic mushrooms in Attleborough.
It follows a warrant carried out at an address on New North Road in Attleborough where officers found large quantities of cannabis and magic mushrooms in the garden shed along with scales and more than a thousand pounds in cash.
23-year-old Ruben Fontes of New North Road, Attleborough was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged.
He admitted possessing a class A drug (magic mushrooms) with intent to supply. being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug (magic mushrooms), possessing a class B drug (cannabis) with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis) and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
Yesterday he was sentenced to two years imprisonment - suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to complete 10 rehabilitation days, 150 hours unpaid work in the community and be subject to six-months of GPS trail monitoring.
