LETTER - ‘Why spoil the landscape for more houses?’

Interesting, that two articles in your March 6 issue appear to be connected.
In the article (Pub status appeal goes to tribunal) the Chequers Inn is listed as an asset to the community and in the article (Long Stratton property investment scheme advances to next phase), the demolition of Cynet House could be an asset for Long Stratton.
My question, why spoil the landscape for more houses?
