Rev John Curtis (Letters, August 2) misses the point.

He talks about waiting for a gap in the traffic to exit, it’s a roundabout, not a T junction.

There are white lines across the roads leading to the roundabout from all directions so everyone has to slow down and be ready to give way.

I know there is a problem with people approaching it too fast but on many occasions I have slowed down on the approach from Diss and the people waiting will not exit, but seem to want wait until there is nothing approaching.

Vinces Road people please use it as a roundabout and only give way to people who are already on it and not a mile away.
