Several youngsters in a south Norfolk scouting organisation received their group’s highest award during an annual celebration event this month.
The Kenninghall Scout Group presented eight members with the Chief Scout’s Award, an accolade given to young people who complete eight challenge badges spanning community work, fitness, creativity, awareness and understanding of the world, helping others, developing leadership skills, outdoor skills and planning expeditions.
Scout troop members Henry Nott, Niamh Farrell, Arthur Spurgeon, Charlotte Thurgar and Verity Bolan (pictured) all obtained the Gold Award.
Alfie Monck, of the Cub troop, was given the Silver Award, while Bronze Awards went to Ruby Estall and Jakey Hall from the Beaver troop.
The celebration event took place at St Mary’s Church, Kenninghall, on February 8.
