Inquest opened into death of popular Mendlesham cafe owner

An inquest has been opened into the death of a popular cafe owner who was killed in a road crash.
Julie Dibbs, 49, had been driving a car which was involved in a collision with a coach and another vehicle on the A1120 at Ashfield on December 17 last year.
Mrs Dibbs, a mother of three, who was declared dead at the scene, ran the Deli Cafe at the Chilli Farm beside the A140 at Mendlesham.
Today (Friday) an inquest was formally opened at Suffolk Coroners Court
in Ipswich.
Senior Suffolk Coroner Nigel Parsley adjourned the hearing to allow the completion of enquiries. A provisional date for a full inquest to take place has been listed as September 5.
