Besthorpe A11, near Attleborough, collision sparks appeal after HGV leaves the road

Police are appealing for information after an HGV left the road and collided with barriers in Besthorpe.

The collision occurred yesterday at 11.21am on the A11 southbound, approximately 200 yards from the Spooner Row slip road.

The driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving prior to the collision. They would also like to hear from anyone who has any dashcam footage from the time of the incident.
