Golden Triangle competition winners announced at St Nicholas Fayre




A feast of activities has been lined up for the St Nicholas Christmas Fayre in Diss this weekend.

Between 11.00am and 4.00pm on Sunday December 9, traders, shopkeepers and cafes will hold the event along St Nicholas Street, Market Hill, Mount Street, Cobbs Yard and Norfolk House Yard. The Corn Hall will also be open 11am - 4pm Sunday, with free lantern making for a Christmas lantern procession between 4.00pm and 4.30pm, following Santa’s sleigh around the Heritage Triangle.

Those who managed to find one of the precious Gold Triangles in the recent Triangle competition can also find out if theirs was the big £250 winner. or if it is still still out there to be found.

There will be special offers from a range of local and artisan suppliers, and stall holders, selling handmade jewellery, arts and crafts, ceramics, skin care, hot chestnuts, confectionery, cakes and savouries, mulled wine as well as the shops in the yards.

For entertainment there will be the Invidia Voices, The Walcot 4 and Ukaholics Anonymous among others, a Christmas raffle and a hog roast.
