Diss kitchen shop has undergone a £500,000 bringing together world’s most prestigious brands, including AGA Rangemaster
A kitchen appliance shop has undergone a major makeover, bringing together some of the world’s most presitgious brands.
Diss Ironworks, in St Nicholas Street has reopened its doors following the refurbishment by owners Hannah and Matt Hyde.
The relaunch repositions the showroom as a flagship AGA Rangemaster destination.
Following an investment of £500,000, the transformed showroom now showcases the AGA Rangemaster luxury portfolio – from the appeal of cast-iron, heat-storage AGA cookers to the elegance of French cooker brand La Cornue, and the award-winning innovation of Novy and AGA Outdoors
The room has commercial grade extraction so live demonstrations will be possible indoors throughout the year.
The owners say it is now the most comprehensive showroom of its kind in the region, and hoped to draw design-conscious clients from across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London and beyond.
They also hope it will bring new footfall and attention to the town of Diss and the area’s growing reputation as a destination for interiors and lifestyle.
Hannah Hyde said: “This is about future-proofing the showroom and giving our customers something truly exceptional.
“We’re proud to remain rooted in our history while evolving to reflect the very best of modern kitchen living.
“The partnership with AGA Rangemaster marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration and together we’ve created something that is more than just a showroom.
“It’s an immersive, design-led space created to spark imagination and celebrate innovation.
“We want people to walk through the door and feel as though they’ve stepped into something entirely new.”
Founded in 1973 by Matt Hyde’s parents, Peter and Anne Hyde, Diss Ironworks has been a mainstay of Norfolk’s design scene and is widely known for its personal service, expert knowledge and commitment to quality.
The refurbishment retains that legacy while creating an elevated environment for the next generation of design- conscious homeowners.
Throughout the year Diss Ironworks will host a rolling calendar of brand-led events where guests can see the appliances in action, as talented chefs whip up delicious dishes while showcasing every feature.
The showroom also boasts its own bar, offering a line-up of healthy juices, specialty coffees, artisan teas and a few indulgent surprises.
Jenny Nalborczyk, marketing manager, AGA Rangemaster, said: “Diss Ironworks is a model for what an AGA Rangemaster luxury destination can be.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Hannah and Matt, who have created a truly extraordinary showroom.
“It brings together our portfolio of iconic brands in a beautiful, curated, highly tactile environment that allows customers to experience craftsmanship, performance and design first-hand.”
The relaunch was marked by a packed launch event yesterday evening with more than 70 attendees, including interiors press, kitchen designers and brand partners.
Guests enjoyed live demonstrations, refreshments and an exclusive first look at the new showroom environment.
