Fire crews from Harleston and Long Stratton release driver from car after Starston bridge crash




A village road was partially closed and a driver freed from their car by emergency services after it hit a bridge.

Fire crews from Harleston and Long Stratton were called to the collision on Railway Hill, in Starston, yesterday at 9.35am.

Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the driver and they were checked over by the ambulance service, but not taken to hospital.

The Norfolk Fire Service closed the incident at 10.15am, but the road was not fully reopened until car was recovered at 2.30pm.
