Ferraris, Lamborghinis and VW Caddies line up at Old Buckenham Classic and Supercar Show

Ferraris, Lamborghinis and VW Caddies fired up their engines on Saturday as the Old Buckenham Classic and Supercar Show made a triumphant return.

More than 1,000 people went along to Old Buckenham Country Park, in Doe Lane, with 200 owners of sports and luxury cars on hand to show off their motors.

“We were really pleased – it was a great turnout,” said Ben Devlin, owner of Old Buckenham Country Park.

“There was a real mixture of cars – everything from GT40s to VW Caddies. There was something for everybody and that was the nice thing about it.

“We even had cars there that people had spent up to seven years restoring.”

It is the fourth instalment of the show since Mr Devlin took over at Old Buckenham Country Park back in 2018.

“We did one in May but this was a lot bigger and better than that, so we were really pleased,” added the 40-year-old.

Organisers also managed to pull together £1,250 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

“It’s a charity that is close to my heart,” said Mr Devlin. “One of my friends works for them and they support a lot of people.”

Despite pulling in an impressive amount of money for charity, the event was free to attend.

“It’s a family day out, so the idea is not to charge people,” said Mr Devlin.
