EDITORIAL - ‘Elections not for the faint hearted’
Many of us will get to vote in three elections on May 7. There’s the general election, the district council elections and town and parish council elections to consider, where they are contested.
Actually making an informed choice in each of these votes is going to be quite a feat.
The general election in itself throws up complicated choices this year, but set that alongside the other two votes and people with little time on their hands may find it hard to feel they are making a fully informed choice.
The parties vying for control of district councils have also released their pledges and manifestos, while parish and town councillors are also campaigning locally.
