Drivers suffer 'serious injuries' after road crash between Oakley and Hoxne




Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident which left two drivers with serious injuries.

Officers were called shortly after 8:30pm on Thursday March 30 to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, near Low Road, between Oakley and Hoxne.

The accident involved a blue Ford Fiesta Zetec and a black Audi A6.

The East of England ambulance service and fire crew also attended to the incident.

Both drivers, aged in their 30s, sustained serious injuries.

They were taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment.

Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing at this time, say police.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the driving manner of the vehicles before the collision.

They would also like to speak to anyone who may have any dashcam footage.
