Diss fish and chip shop raised more than £1,000 for Walking With The Wounded

Fair Green Fish Bar in Diss has donated a whole day of takings to charity.

The takeaway raised £1,010.25 in aid of Walking With The Wounded, a charity which supports the reintegration of veterans back into society.

Business owner Cemal Adiguzel said: “We have had a great result from a very busy day.

“Lots of people supported us and we are so happy that our customers have donated to such a great cause.

“We would also like to thank Duncan Slater for helping to organise the day, and our customers for the amazing turnout.”

The eatery is hoping to do the event again next year.
