Man, 22, to appear in court in connection with arson attack that killed 50 pigs
A 22-year-old man from the Diss area has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court next month in connection with three counts of arson.
He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on March 5 from 9.15am in connection with the following three counts of arson.
The first incident took place on the evening of September 26, 2019, when a hay stack in a barn in Bressingham was deliberately set alight. The fire destroyed the building, farm machinery and 50 pigs were killed.
The second took place at a farm in Kenninghall the following day when a large stack of hay bales was deliberately set alight.
The third incident came around a week later, when a barn in Bressingham and 400 tonnes of straw were destroyed by fire on October 3.
