Bailey's Fish and Chip shop in Diss to give away free meals on Hallowe'en

It is all treat and no trick from a Diss fish and chip shop this Hallowe’en as staff are set to give away free meals for ghouls, ghosts and other scary costumes.

On October 31, Bailey’s Fish and Chip shop, in Shelfanger Road, will be giving out sausage and chips to adults and children, who don something for the occasion in their annual Hallowe’en special.

This is the fourth year that the shop has done this for the community.

Business owner Cengiz Bolat said: “Last year was very busy, with lots of children and families coming in here in their costumes.

“They even made a sort of picnic area outside, because the weather was nice, for all of them to enjoy their sausage and chips.”

The shop also does a Christmas Day ‘nobody eats alone’ special, on December 25, to feed people who need it and to help combat loneliness.
