Daily Round-Up: Gyms, pools, and leisure centres given reopening date




Fitness is back Gyms, swimming pools and leisure centres have been given dates to finally reopen, following the culture secretary Oliver Dowden's announcement yesterday. Outdoor pools will reopen today, with indoor gyms, swimming pools and sports facilities set to open from July 25.

Quarantine rules end As of today, people travelling from more than 70 countries to the UK will no longer have to isolate for 14 days, or provide an address of where they are staying.

Race inquiry Police forces across England and Wales are facing an inquiry to establish whether racial discrimination is used in their application of stop and search.

Norfolk and Suffolk coronavirus figures There have been three new cases in Norfolk, taking the total at 2,854, whilst Suffolk's total has gone up by three to 2,622.

In the last 24 hours, the national total of cases has gone up by 642 to 287,621, with 85 new deaths taking the death total to 44,602.
