Cyclist remains in critical condition after lorry collision near East Harling




A cyclist remains in a critical condition after he sustained life-threatening injuries in a lorry collision.

Emergency services were called to the B1114 at about 12.35pm on Friday, December 13, after a cyclist and a blue lorry were involved in a collision at the junction with Kenninghall Road and East Harling Road.

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was air lifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened at around 6.30pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage or information concerning the driving manner of the lorry or riding manner of the cyclist prior to the incident.
