Cyclist dies following lorry collision near East Harling




A cyclist in his 70s has died following a serious collision on December 13 near East Harling.

Emergency services were called to the B1114 at around 12.35pm after a cyclist and a blue lorry were involved in a collision at the junction with Kenninghall Road and East Harling Road.

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was air-lifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for treatment, but died yesterday, December 17.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened at around 6.30pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dash-cam footage or information concerning the driving manner of the lorry or riding manner of the cyclist prior to the incident.
