Coronavirus Daily: West Suffolk and Norfolk and Norwich hospitals report virus figures
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital reported last week that a total of 236 patients had recovered from coronavirus since the outbreak began.
Unfortunately though the hospital has also said that there have been a total of 116 deaths.
At West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, it reported 63 deaths as a result of Covid-19, with 209 patients having tested positive since the start. A total of 98 people had recovered sufficiently to return home.
Yesterday's figures from Public Health England showed the UK's daily figure for confirmed cases was 2,959, down from 3,287 in the previous 24-hour reporting period.
Norfolk's positive cases over this period saw a rise of 15, to 2,100 so far, with Suffolk reporting 37 new cases, taking its total to 1,431.
The UK's daily deaths was 282, which is a drop from 351 in the previous reported period.
