Coronavirus Daily: Norfolk and Suffolk hospitals report coronavirus figures
Two of the area's hospitals, the Norfolk and Norwich and West Suffolk, have revealed their coronavirus figures.
Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Foundation Trust said there have been 274 patients, so far that had been been well enough to go home to continue their recoveries.
Sadly, 124 with covid-19 have died at the Colney Lane hospital as of May 28 and there are currently 25 patients in the hospital who have tested positive for coronavirus.
At West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, 119 patients have been discharged, as of June 1, and 70 people have died since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Yesterday's figures from Public Health England showed Norfolk had two daily positive cases over the last reported 24-hours, taking its total so far to 2,173, with Suffolk reporting eight new cases as well, with a total of 1,513.
The UK's daily confirmed cases was 1,613, with the overall count now at 277,985 and the number of daily deaths at 324.
