Eye collision sees man taken to hospital after being hit by a car

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment after being involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa yesterday.

The incident happened at around 3.50pm yesterday on Castleton Way in Eye.

The road was blocked while an ambulance crew treated the patient before transporting him to Norfolk and Norwich hospital for further care.

No information relating to the man's condition has been released, but he is believed to have been conscious and breathing while being treated.
