Pulham St Mary Christmas Craft Fair pulls in the crowds to raise £1,000
Stalls and visitors crowded in to the Pennoyer Centre in Pulham St Mary last Saturday for an annual Christmas Craft Fair.
The event, which saw up to 300 visitors and 25 stalls turn out, was hailed a success by organisers, with more than £1,000 having been raised for the running costs of the centre.
“Once again, we had an overwhelming visitor turnout for our Christmas Craft Fair, and we would like to thank everyone who came along and the volunteers who helped out,” said Kath Jones, craft fair organiser.
“The reason we are so popular is because the quality of the crafts on offer is consistently high and shoppers know that what they are getting is locally made and unique.
“The event has raised more than £1,000 for this vital community resource.”
Last Saturday’s event was the 17th craft fair to be held at the venue, and included a range of hand-crafted items, from woodturning, ceramics, glass and artwork, to textiles, jewellery, needlecraft and Christmas decorations and cards.
The next craft fair will be held at the centre on March 25.
