TW Gaze auctioneers from Diss help Old Buckenham Village hall with fundraising valuation day

An Antiques Roadshow-style event gave people the perfect chance to find out the value of their most prized possessions.

Old Buckenham Village Hall hosted a valuation day with help from the team at TW Gaze in Diss, with the auctioneers praised for their part in the day.

Organiser Jenny Devaux, a trustee at the village hall, said: “This is the first time in decades that an event like this has been held at the hall.

“We would like to thank everyone who came to the event, especially to TW Gaze for taking a leap of faith with us.

“We managed to raise £315, which will go towards the continued upkeep of the hall. Without this type of fundraising, the hall simply could not survive.

“So thank you again to everyone. We hope they all enjoyed themselves and learned something new about their antiques and collectables.”

Mrs Devaux added that many people left with smiles on their faces, with 85 items brought in for the team to look at.
