The accident, involving a Mercedes and a Range Rover, took place at the Hempnall junction between Long Stratton and Tasburgh at 4.30pm.

A tweet by South Norfolk Police stated: “The driver of one of the vehicle turned into the path of another, rather than patiently waiting for enough space.”

The drivers received treatment from ambulance services, but none of the injuries were considered life threatening.

They were, however, taken to hospital as a precaution.
