Car crash on A140 leaves two injured
Emergency services were called to the A140 on Wednesday, December 19 after a two-vehicle crash left two people injured.
The accident, involving a Mercedes and a Range Rover, took place at the Hempnall junction between Long Stratton and Tasburgh at 4.30pm.
A tweet by South Norfolk Police stated: “The driver of one of the vehicle turned into the path of another, rather than patiently waiting for enough space.”
The drivers received treatment from ambulance services, but none of the injuries were considered life threatening.
They were, however, taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road, which was closed to remove fuel and debris, reopened at 6.30pm.
A roundabout designed to improve congestion and road safety at the crossroads is currently in the planning stages.
