Can you help find a place for our papers?

We have been busy embarking on a little spring clean at the Diss Express – particularly our archive room, which resembles something more akin to a library – and have stumbled across one or two more newspapers than we actually need.

Reporter Kevin Hurst has been getting his hands dirty (anyone who has handled news print will know what we are talking about) and estimates we have 1,500 back copies, with some going back to 2015 – and is hoping they can be used for something useful.

Kevin said: “After sorting out some papers for our own collection, we found we had lots that we no longer need – and the stack just kept growing.

“We hope something like a hedgehog sanctuary or a school art project will be able to make use of some of them.”

Anyone who would like some or all of the copies should email kevin.hurst@iliffepublishing.co.uk to organise a collection from our Mere Street office.
