Harleston store becomes third to open for entrepreneur brothers

Two brothers who set up a vaping business with each other are dreaming big after opening a third store – less than three years after the first opened.

Jordan and Jamie Walker, 24 and 21, respectively, opened JJ’s Vapes in The Street in Long Stratton in 2020 before opening a second store in Chapel Street in Diss in early 2022.

The pair plan to officially open their third store in the Thoroughfare in Harleston tomorrow.

“Business has been really good since we opened the first shop and we always wanted to open a new branch in Harleston, having lived there when I was younger,” said Jordan.

“Customers from the Harleston area have also mentioned that it would be nice if we had a presence there, so, when we saw this space was available, we thought we should go for it.

“I think our success so far is down to a couple of things. Firstly, the variety of our stock and our products, but secondly the friendships we build with our customers.”

JJ’s Vapes has grown its customer base quickly since opening, with a unique business model which may surprise some people.

“We’re actually not looking to keep customers coming back forever,” said Jordan. “Our main goal is to help them quit smoking, then gradually move away from vaping once it has helped them to quit.”

With a burgeoning business empire, the young entrepreneurs are determined to keep growing their line of vaping stores,” said Jordan.

“We don’t have a timeline for opening a fourth shop currently, but that is certainly something we are thinking about.

“We really want to thank everyone who has supported us up to this point, because opening a new shop has only been possible because of them.

“Our main goal is to keep serving the communities we are in, to help people give up smoking and not only help them improve their health, but also their finances, as cigarettes cost a lot of money.”
