The new health bar – called FresHub – will offer a wide range of coffee blends from around the world, sandwiches and wraps.

They will also provide meal plans tailored to different goals, including weight loss or weight gain.

Ryan and Luke Halil are the two brothers behind the idea.

“There was nowhere healthy to eat in Diss and we want to make it easier for people who have certain weight goals,” said Ryan, 28, who lives on Walcot Road.

All ingredients are locally sourced and the menu will include salads, herbal teas, cakes and other sweet treats.

There will be a range of gluten-free options, vegan smoothies and protein shakes and bars.

Prices range from £2 to £2.50 for a coffee and between £2.50 and £5 for a meal.

“We want to encourage people to rethink their perceptions of healthy food and that it is possible without losing flavour or nutrients,” said Ryan.

Brother Luke, 22, will be the face behind the counter. He will split his time between FresHub and the brothers’ other venture, Gentleman’s Barbers in St Nicholas Street.

The business opened today (October 15).

Opening hours are from 6.45am to 3.45pm between Monday and Friday, and from 8am to 4pm on Saturdays.
