Body found in search for missing Edward Osborne, 43, of Framlingham
A body has been found during the search for a missing man who was last seen two months ago.
The family of Edward Osborne, 43, of Framlingham, have been told that a body was found on the shoreline in Harwich, Essex, on Friday, March 14.
Mr Osborne was reported missing on Tuesday, January 14 and his car was found in the Gainsborough area of Ipswich three days later, on Friday January 17.
Suffolk Police, assisted by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR) and HM Coastguard, conducted searches along the River Orwell and the surrounding coastline.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Mr Osborne’s next of kin has been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
