Appeal for witnesses after truck and car collide in Eye

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Eye.

The incident took place on Monday February 24 at approximately 12:35pm on the B1077 Cranley Green Road, at the junction of Cranley Road, involving a white Ford flatbed truck and Vauxhall Vectra car.

The driver of the Vauxhall Vectra – a woman in her 50s – was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment having sustained a fractured wrist and a leg injury.

Two men also sustained injuries and were taken to Ipswich Hospital.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw either vehicle immediately prior to it, to make contact. They would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.
