A-Level Results Day 2019: Hartismere School




In Eye, Hartismere School’s sixth form said its 66 students had achieved a pass rate of 99.3 per cent this year, with 89 per cent achieving A* to C grades.

Diss High School students Alex, George and Bethany celebrate their success.

Headmaster James McAtear said: “These results are a testimony to the hard work of all our staff, governors and students and to the support given to them by their parents.”

Notable achievements included Benjamin Brooks, who gained 3A* grades, and future Cambridge University students Nikolai Madland-Shorter and Tim Greenard, who each obtained two A* grades and an A.

Megan Meager (A*, A, A) is going to study medical biochemistry, Jack Robertson (A*, A, A) is going to study mechanical engineering, Jessica Rosedale (A*, A, A) is going to study biology.

Tim Greenard (A*, A*, A) is going to read Theology at Cambridge, Esther Burridge (A, A, A) is going to read English and art history and Paddy Hughes (Distinction *, A*, A) is going to read history and international relations.
