The exuberant feel-good music of the up-and-coming Will Pound Band is making its way to Diss Corn Hall early next month as part of the band’s first ever tour.
The four-piece act will perform at the Corn Hall on Friday, February 6, showcasing songs from their much-anticipated debut EP.
Having impressed at live shows and festivals, the roots quartet is led by Will Pound, a widely-acclaimed harmonica player twice nominated for the Musician of the Year accolade in BBC Radio 2’s Folk Awards, as well as Songlines Magazine’s Best Newcomer of 2014.
He is backed by double bassist and beat boxer John Parker, singer and guitarist Chris Sarjeant, formerly of the Jackie Oates Band, and Henry Webster, who was the 2013 London Fiddle Champion.
The concert starts at 8pm. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door - call 01379 652241 or see www.disscornhall.co.uk
