What I learned

A familiar face to the Diss Corn Hall audience is set to unleash his highly-acclaimed Edinburgh Festival show at the Scole Inn next Friday.

Luke Wright, well-known at the Corn Hall for his Stand-Up Poetry Clubs, will deliver his show, ‘What I Learned from Jonny Bevan’, a poetic monologue about the British relationship between class and politics told through one extraordinary friendship.

Its humour and poignancy earned Luke the 2015 Stage Award for Acting Excellence and a slew of five star reviews when it was performed in Edinburgh, including one critic who described it as “a densely-packed and deftly-woven banner for young Britain’s political reawakening.”

The show is in Scole on Friday, January 22, at 8pm.

Tickets are available for £10 by contacting the Corn Hall Box Office on 01379 652241 or by visiting www.disscornhall.co.uk
