Comedian Stewart Lee is to bring his new show, ‘A Room With A Stew’ to Norwich’s Theatre Royal on Sunday, February 1.
The 46-year-old will launch his latest UK tour in the county, which has been so popular that only returns are available for the show.
Lee made his name in the 1990s as one half of the radio duo Lee and Herring, before co-writing and co-directing the mock Broadway hit Jerry Springer: The Opera.
His latest show, entitled ‘A Room With A Stew’, it sees him perform his latest routines, explore new subjects and try out some brand new material ahead of his fourth BBC series ‘Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle’ taking to the air.
John Bultitude, of Norwich Theatre Royal, said: “Stewart mixes the moody, observational and surreal in his new show. It has gained positive feedback from audiences and critics alike in London and we are excited to be the venue that he launches his tour in.
“The show has proved incredibly popular. If you don’t have tickets yet, keep checking in with the box office for returns.”
