Packed afternoon of music and entertainment set for Mendlesham Street Fayre
A packed afternoon of music, activities, entertainment and refreshment is promised with the return of the Mendlesham Street Fayre.
Taking place on Monday, May 4th, gates open at 10.30am, with festivities beginning at noon, lasting until 5pm.
Acts set to appear include the Stowmarket Boys Brigade Band, the Samboomba Band, belly dancers, The Tricky Twister Children’s Entertainer, and the East Suffolk Morris Men. Live music will also be provided by Stacks of Sax.
Elsewhere on the day, there will be a birds of prey demonstration, a craft show, hog roast, armoury, a variety of stalls, bygone farm machinery, bouncy castle and a grand draw.
Tickets are £2 in advance from the village shop, or £3 on the day. There is free entry for those under 16, while there will be no charge on the day for parking.
The event is organised by the Mendlesham Community Council.
