The David Brown and Old Ram Tractor Clubs are joining together once again when the annual Plough Day returns next Sunday, October 11.
Taking place on land between off the A143 between Scole and Harleston, with the kind permission of Sir Rupert and Lady Mann, of Thelveton Farms, the event is described as a fun day for both ploughmen and women and the general public.
Entrants may plough a demonstration plot, although there is no judging, or just plough a designated area of the field, while non-participating visitors are welcome to view the action as it happens.
Numerous vintage and classic tractors will be in attendance, and there will also be trailer rides, a raffle and refreshments.
The fun day will run from 11am to 4pm - the site is found on the A142, around three miles east of the A143/A140 roundabout.
Admission is free, but all participants and spectators are asked to donate to the Manns’ chosen charity - Marie Curie.
