Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is brought to Eye, Hoxne, Wingfield and Diss by Open Space Theatre Company.

When Martha and her college lecturer husband George are joined for drinks by a naive young couple after a party the stage is set for a night of drunken recriminations and revelations.

The 1962 play by Edward Albee was turned into a film starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.

The roles of the feuding couple are taken by Peter Sowerbutts of Harleston and Yves Green.

Also in the cast are Emma Martin and Mike Davison as the naive young couple, Honey and Nick.

The performances are at The Bank in Eye on May 8, Hoxne Village Hall on May 13, Wingfield Barns on May 15 and Diss Corn Hall on May 19. All performances are 7.30pm.
