A specially-adapted version of the legendary novel Dracula by Bram Stoker will be performed by the Harleston Players theatre society across several evenings this month, starting next Friday.

Following their production of Blackadder earlier this year, the group is now set for nights of classic horror with this chilling adaptation by the acclaimed poet and playwright, Liz Lochhead.

The director, Bazil Leith, best known for his professional work as director and animator for Paddington Bear and The Wombles, is putting his talent to work directing a strong cast of local actors in this timeless tale of madness, love and evil.

The performances start next Friday, and continue on Saturday, October 24, Thursday, October 29, Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31.

Each performance is at Archbishop Sancroft High School in Harleston, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8, or £6 for concessions, from 01379 852845.
