This year’s show has promised to the biggest one yet, with more than 100 stalls and exhibitors, children’s entertainment, walkabout performers and much more earmarked to appear at the council headquarters in Swan Lane, Long Stratton.

Attractions will include fairground rides, Spider Mountain, face painting, outdoor theatre, animals, model village building, treasure hunts, dancing troops, school choirs and Kuk Sool Won demos, while refreshments will be provided by vendors including the Farmer’s Market and the beer tent run by The Waterfront pub, of Diss.

The council’s deputy leader Martin Wilby said: “South Norfolk on Show just keeps getting more and more popular and it’s no surprise. It’s a fantastic free family day out, with excellent entertainment.”
