A highly-acclaimed production of the John Godber’s classic comedy Teechers is gracing the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds early next month.
Performed by Blackeyed Theatre in association with South Hill Park and directed by Adrian McDougall, Teechers portrays the trials and tribulations of a modern comprehensive school for Mr Nixon, an unsuspecting new drama teacher.
The story brings to life an array of terrifying teachers and hopeless pupils through the eyes of Salty, Gail and Hobby, who are three Year 11 students about to leave school for good.
Critics have described Blackeyed Theatre’s rendition of Teechers as “fast-moving, inventive and highly entertaining”, “hilarious” and “top of the class.”
The performances will take place on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available at prices from £8.50 to £20.50.
