Cinderella pantomime heads to Eye
The story of Cinderella will be brought to life in amusing pantomime form tonight and tomorrow afternoon and evening at the Community Centre in Eye.
Performed by the Dove Players, the show stars the group’s regular dame, Simon Hooton, as the wicked Baroness (pictured centre with Clare Blaxill, who plays Buttons, and Callum Tierney, who portrays one of the Ministers.)
Director Jules Blaxill said: “The Dove players make a special effort to try and give anyone who wants to get involved a place in the show. That means a lot of young people coming in, our regulars who have done a few shows including some with learning difficulties and a small band of adults have to be blended together.”
The shows are at 7.30pm this evening and 2.30pm and 7.30pm tomorrow night. Tickets are £7 for adults, £6 for concessions and £5 for juniors, with a £1 discount for anyone who buys four or more tickets. To book, call Mary Mills on 01379 871494.
