Celebrate music of Buddy at Norwich

A tribute show honouring the music of the late, great Buddy Holly takes to the Norwich Theatre Royal stage for one night only this Sunday.

Buddy Holly and The Cricketers has performed for audiences all across the globe, starring UK actor-musicians with a range of West End credits to their name.

This year, the show is celebrating what would have been Buddy’s 80th birthday, had he not died in a plane crash back in 1959, aged just 22.

With his background rooted in country and western music, Buddy Holly is considered one of the early pioneers of American rock music and he has been credited as one of the first artists to make use of overdubbing and double-tracking.

This concert will take place on Sunday evening, beginning at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the night are priced between £7 and £19.50, with discounts available for Friends of Norwich Theatre Royal. To book, please call 01603 630000.
