Blue Orange Theatre to bring interpretation of Jane Eyre to Diss Corn Hall
The Blue Orange Theatre is bringing its interpretation of Charlotte Bronte’s classic literary text Jane Eyre to the Diss Corn Hall next month as part of its 2015 national tour.
A tale of a young woman’s courageous fight through injustice and hardship, Jane Eyre is considered by many to be ahead of its time given the individualistic character of Jane, with some critics describing it as a story that continues to inspire and enthral more than 150 years after its publication.
Blue Orange Theatre has produced three national tours since 2011, including Steven King’s Misery, Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island and William Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
The performance commences at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 12.
Tickets are available for £10, or £8 for under 18s, through the Box Office on 01379 652241 or online at www.disscornhall.co.uk
