All-star acoustic line up arrives in Yaxley

A varied assortment of acoustic soloists and groups is on the cards for the latest in a series of concerts at Yaxley Village Hall, taking place tomorrow night.

Headlining the evening, in her first visit to East Anglia, is acclaimed singer and songwriter Elaine Davidson.

Elaine has established a loyal following at concerts and festivals in the Lake District and last summer hosted and sang with her band at a series of folk concerts at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.

In addition, there will also be songs and tunes by Gwyn Thomas and Friends.

Gwyn played with Cumbrian folk band, the Ellen Valley Band, for many years and now performs with his sons Owain and Lewis.

Frank Lee, Sally Hardaker, Mike France and Sue Allen from the Ellen Valley Band will also be performing, as will Corrie Schrijver on her Northumberland pipes.

It goes from 7.30pm until 11pm. Tickets are £5 for one or £10 for a family. Phone 01379 783288 to find out more.
