A revered folk soloist will make her first ever visit to the region when she headlines the next Yaxley Acoustic Concert on Saturday, April 9.
Singer and songwriter Elaine Davidson has established a loyal following at concerts and festivals and last summer, she hosted and sang with her band at a series of Sunday evening folk gigs.
Last autumn, she released her second CD, Can’t tell the River, and will be signing copies in addition to performing at the Yaxley concert.
Also taking to the stage will be Gwyn Thomas and Friends, as well as a selection of musicians from the Ellen Valley Band and Northumberland pipe player Corrie Schrijver.
The event will also feature a real ale bar run by CAMRA, with beer provided by the Hoxne Brewery.
The concert takes place at Yaxley Village Hall next Saturday, between 7.30pm and 11pm. Tickets are £5 per person, or £10 per family. For further details, call 01379 783288.
