The line-up of writers for the 2105 Spring Literary Festival at the UEA, which starts in Febuary, has been announced.
This year’s festival presents seven exceptional writers, Helen Macdonald, Rachel Cusk, Robert Macfarlane, Ali Smith, Alan Johnson, David Nicholls and Julia Blackburn, who have won numerous awards between them.
The festival gets underway with Helen Macdonald, who performs on Febuary 25.
The writers will showcase exciting and engaging literary voices. It is described as being about life lived and life mourned, and about nature at its most vital.
They will tell the tales worth telling, whether fictional or fact based, addressing most directly and compassionately the audience in their bids to determine the importance of the written word.
Organisers make promises of laughter, some tears, insight and brilliant entertainment.

They cost £7 for an individual event, whilst a season tickets for all seven events is £42, or £5 for students and concessions.
